  • Support for connecting to Microsoft Exchange 2007 servers will be included in Address Book, Mail, and iCal.
  • Faster installation times and smaller hard drive footprint. About 13 minutes versus an hour plus for 10.5. 
  • Support for up to a theoretical 16TB RAM[2] by further developing 64-bit kernel technologies.
  • Grand Central: a parallel-programming technology that aims to have the OS take greater advantage of multi-core CPUs.
  • QuickTime X which will feature optimized support for modern codecs.
  • OpenCL (Open Computing Language): allowing developers to code applications to use the GPU for non-graphics purposes.
  • A 64-bit kernel which provides a complete 64-bit environment for applications, along with 32-bit support for older Macs. This completes a long running attempt by Apple to completely unify their products in 64-bit capabilities, dating back to Apple’s original adoption of the PowerPC in 1994 which was planned to become natively 64-bit with the PowerPC G5 and slowly built into OS X starting with Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther” in 2003

BootCamp 버전 및 부트캠프 파티션에 윈도우즈 설치/제거하는 방법 macOS2009. 2. 16. 01:59

Mac OS X 10.7~10.8에서는 맥북에어,맥미니,레티나 맥북프로 기종만 8GB USB메모리를 이용하여 윈도우7 설치가 가능하다.
Mac OS X 10.4~10.6를 사용하는 시스템에서는 맥북프로만 8GB USB를 이용하여 윈도우7 설치가 가능하다.

BootCamp 드라이버 다운로드 받기 및 BootCamp에 Windows 설치하는 방법

준비물: 8G USB
사전 준비작업 : http://osx86.tistory.com/1200 혹은 http://osx86.tistory.com/715 , 둘중의 편리한 방법을 사용한다.



- 위 그림에서 파티션 설정시 기본적으로 20G가 BootCamp파티션에 할당되어지고 사용자는 필요한 공간만큼 주황색 부분을 좌우측으로 조절하여 윈도우즈 파티션 크기를 설정하여 준다.

-BootCamp 드라이는 "Apple에서 최신 Windows지원 소프트웨어 다운로드"를 선택하였다면 8G USB메모리 스틱에 다운로드 받아서 설치하면 된다. 

재부팅하여 옵션키(ALT)를 누르고 있으면 USB 혹은 윈도우즈 설치 DVD를 선택하여 BOOTCAMP 파티션에 윈도우즈를 설치한다.

- 윈도우즈를 설치할때 위 그림과 같이 BootCamp파티션이 fat32로 포맷되어 있으므로 반드시 NTFS(빠른 포맷)을 실행하여 주고 설치진행한다.

- 만약 윈도우즈를 로딩하고 블랙 스크린이 보인다면 맥에 rEFit을 설치하고 다시 진행하세요.

[rEFit 다운받기]

* 만약 위 그림에서 파티션 결함으로 Windows 파티션 생성이 되지 않는 다면 다음 글과 같이 파티션 복구를 하고 그래도 안되면 지우기를 실행하여 Mac OS X 를 재설치하여 주어야 한다.

최종적으로 윈도우즈를 성공적으로 설치하였다면 WinClone을 이용하여 백업을 받아두면 차후 윈도우즈 문제 발생시 재설치하지 않고 바로 복원을 하여 BootCamp윈도우즈를 사용할 수 있다.

Space 사용 macOS/Snow Leopard2009. 2. 15. 12:10

Leopard가 출시되면서 기존 Tiger에서 추가된 기능중 하나가 Expose와 Space기능이 아닌가 한다. 
특히 포토샵을 하면서 동시에 이메일 확인, 웹검색, 일정관리, 메신저, 기타 등등을 동시에 수행해야 할 때가 많다. 
이럴때 윈도우즈에서 흉내내지 못할 기능중의 하나가 이 space기능이 아닌가 하는 생각이다. 
즉, 추가 어플리케이션 설치가 필요없이 기본적으로 지원이된다는 애기이다.
물론, 윈도우즈에서도 추가로 어플리케이션을 설치하면 이런 기능 정도는 사용할 수 있다라고 하겠지만,,,,,
 Leopard에서는 기본 기능중의 하나이다. 

1. 먼저 환경설정을 클릭한다.

2. 환경설정에서 Expose/Space를 클릭한다.

3. 다음 그림과 같이 Space 기능을 활성화한다. 물론 그림과 같이 행/열 수도 추가/감소가 가능하다.

4. 이제 F8 펑션키를 눌러보자. 그리고 그림과 같이 사용하는 어플리케이션을 마우스를 이용하여 드래그 앤 드랍으로 다른창으로 옮겨보자. 



5. 이 기능들 때문에 맥을 한번 사용하기 시작하면 윈도우즈로 돌아갈 수 없다는 게 아픔이다.

Yontoo or Topic Torch Removal for Mac & Safari User’s macOS/Tip2009. 2. 14. 13:49



  • 사파리(Safari)를 실행한다.
  • 사파리의 환경설정(Preferences)을 실행한다.
  • 환경설정의 확장프로그램(Extensions)을 선택한다.
  • 확장프로그램에서 “Yontoo” 를 발견할 수 있을 것이다. 제거한다.
  • 확실히 하기 위해서 확장 프로그램을 끔(Off)으로 설정한다.

    Snow Leopard Leaked

    - try to install with terminal.
    - open terminal and goto /Volumes/Mac OS X Install DVD/System/Installation/Packages.
    - had to use IOATAFamily.kext from 10.5.6 with ide legacy
    - but, some HDD activity
    - cpupower disabled
    - formatted to GUID or installing to gpt
    - Need AppleDecrypt and disabler and debug kernel
    - how to force load /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext?
    - to use bootloader with timestamp ignoring
    - it will ignore mtiime on mkext and Extensions folder.
    - will boot mkext if it present
    - kernel panic when it boots kexts, not mkext.
    - the way is to have newest bl and proper mkext.
    - regenerate extensions.mkext ?
    - can generate mkext with 10a222 build , or, unpack mkext from dvd dmg, add kexts, and pack it.
    - mkextunpack & kextcache.
    - about system.kext? it doesnt unpack system.kext from the Extensions.mkext on the dvd.
    - try to add system.kext to it ...it fails.
    - use 10a222 to generate mkext for u.
    - it can create mkext automaticaly on 261 partition.
    - Reading Startup Extensions: then panic.
    - rename /S/L/E folder.
    - then boot -s , rename it to original name, so system wil see it.
    - when there is no /S/L/E folder - bootloader boots mkext
    - .bundle's and .plugin's never load or use from /Extra/Extensions.
    - make sure there is no /Extra/Extebsions fodler either
    - only Extra/Extensions.mkext.

    10.5 BootCamp 드라이버 macOS/Leopard2009. 2. 9. 07:37

    Finder에서 /Application/Utilities로 이동한다. 

    콘트롤 키를 누른채  Boot Camp Assistant를  클릭하여 Show Package Contents 를 선택한다.

    Contents/Resources에 dmg 화일을 클릭하여 디스크 이미지를 마운트한다.

    Disk image 내의 USB메모리 스틱에 복사한다.
